Guys, I buy bags of chopped mangoes (too lazy to cut it myself) and snack on bowls of it thrice a day. No joke. I love it thiiiis much, and it’s why I included it in our Sunrise Mimosa.

I start this cocktail with a can mango nectar. You can find this in either the juice aisle of your grocery store or sometimes it can be found in the ethnic food section of the grocery store.

I also use frozen mango chunks. I like to keep them frozen or semi-frozen to add a nice chill to the mimosa.

Combine the nectar and the mango chunks in a blender and combine until smooth.

Divide the juice mixture between your glasses and top each glass with chilled sparkling wine, champagne or Prosecco!

Recipe Tips

  • Make sure you puree your fruit until it is smooth, otherwise you may find your drink has small fruit pieces floating, which isn’t bad, it really comes down to aesthetics.
  • I personally prefer Prosecco, I find that champagne can be too dry for my taste, but this is completely a personal preference.

An iconic brunch cocktail, the mimosa is a simple drink to make. Both casual and festive, it's perfect for any occasion, from holidays to Mother's Day and showers to a weekend brunch. Aldi Just Released a Bottled Mango Mimosa, and It’s Only $9

When we first told you about Aldi's bottled pineapple mimosas, we couldn't believe we hadn't thought of the genius concoction ourselves.

Now, the beloved grocery store chain just introduced a mango variety of the same pre-mixed and bottled brunch cocktail&hellipand it's time to face the facts: We could drink a whole bottle ourselves.

Last spring, Aldi debuted their bottled mimosas in the classic OJ flavor, then introduced a pomegranate flavor in late summer. Earlier this year, they released pineapple, and now they're debuting one of our favorite fruits in boozy juice form with this new mango flavor.

The drink, made from fresh-squeezed mango juice and champagne, retails for $9 for a 750-milliliter, and you can stock up to your heart&rsquos content starting June 19 (aka today).

Of course, we know that mimosas aren't terribly difficult to whip up yourself (seven parts Champagne to one part OJ, right?!), but there's something to be said for not even dealing with the extra fridge space required to chill both containers and being able to pour the perfectly proportioned drink out at a moment's notice.

And, yes, that means for less than ten bucks, you, too, can pour up at least four glasses of the delicious brunch staple.

How to make Mango Kadhi | Homechef Recipe | The Foodie

A kadhi for mango lovers, this mango kadhi is easy to make and delightful to eat. A must-try!

Ingredients Required to make Mango Kadhi -

- 1 cup Dahi
- 1/2 cup Besan
- 1 cup Water
- 1 inch Ginger julienned
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt to taste
- 3/4 cup Mango Pulp
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 5-6 Methi Seeds
- 2 Dry Red Chillies
- Curry Leaves

Method to make Mango Kadhi -

1) In a bowl, add 1 cup dahi and half cup besan. Whisk well.
2) In a kadhi, add the besan and dahi mixture. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.
3) Add ginger julienned 1-inch piece and 3 green chillies. 1 to 2 tsp sugar and salt as per taste.
4) Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on low to medium flame.
5) Add pulp of one mango (3/4 cup) to the kadhi. Add half cup water or as required. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes again.
6) For tempering, add 1 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp jeera, 5 to 6 methi seeds, 2 dry red chillies and curry leaves.
7) Once it sputters, switch off the flame, add it to the kadhi and let the kadhi cook for another minute or two.

How to Make Mimosas

Making a mimosa couldn’t be simpler, as it only requires 2 basic ingredients: chilled sparkling wine and orange juice. That’s it! For this cocktail, you don’t even need ice. In fact, for the best results, you should avoid using it, as it will dilute and diminish the wine’s carbonation. For a really cold, bubbly cocktail, chill the wine and orange juice the night before you plan to make mimosas.

When you’re ready to serve, pour the wine into a tilted champagne flute, letting it run down the inside of the glass to avoid losing carbonation. Top the wine with the orange juice, taste and adjust, and enjoy!

I like to use a 50/50 ratio of dry sparkling wine to orange juice in my mimosas, but make sure you taste and adjust your drink to your liking. You may prefer as much as 2 parts sparkling wine to 1 part orange juice, or the opposite if you like a less alcoholic cocktail.

Mimosa Recipe Tips

  • Break out the champagne flutes. Champagne flutes are designed to preserve carbonation, so using them will make your drinks extra bubbly. If you don’t have them, wine glasses are your next best bet.
  • Chill your glasses. As I said above, you don’t want to add ice here, as it’ll make the cocktails become flat faster. If you want your mimosa to be really cold, chill your glasses ahead of time along with the sparkling wine and orange juice.
  • Skip the pulp. No one likes a pulpy mimosa! For smooth, bubbly cocktails, choose pulp-free orange juice. If you prefer to squeeze your own, squeeze and strain it in advance. Then, chill it before mixing up your drinks.
  • Mix it up. This mimosa recipe is simple and flexible, so feel free to play with it. Try swapping regular orange juice for blood orange juice, or use different fresh fruit juice altogether. Cranberry juice, apple cider, grapefruit juice, or pomegranate juice would all be great choices. You could also add a splash of orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier, for a stronger orange flavor. A little goes a long way here – start with a 4:1 ratio of orange juice to liqueur.
